Dreamweaver is the industry standard. It's also what I use.

I am self taught using frontpage so HTML is all I know right now. I think these days it is better to learn PHP as it will give you more flexibility in updating content, doing it in HTML is a headache if you have a big site.

I think almost everyone uses Dreamweaver. Of course, with the aid of Photoshop CS2 for designing

I used to use in Notepad too, but moved on to Dreamweaver a few years ago because its just too inefficient to write it all out

For my graphics I primarily use Photoshop, and once my designs are done I use ImageReady to cut them up for the web.

In addition, I use Autodesk's Maya for 3D graphics.

i work as a webdeveloper. programs i use:

    - adobe photoshop and illustrator cs2
    - macromedia/adobe flash
    - ultraedit for coding

dreamweaver is nice if you create plain html sites, but when it comes to programming, like PHP/ASP etc, you want something like ultraedit or any other text editor for that matter

I normally do plain html coding with notepad. However, if I'm making a template or something like that I will use dreamweaver. I just feel that dreamweaver puts a big cap on the limit of what you can do! I dont know, lol!
