What book are you Currently Reading?

I'm currently reading How to win friends and influence people by dale Carnegie. A true gem of knowledge indeed, I must say. More than half way done and I'm studying his advice, not just reading to soak up a few pickups. I plan on digesting his thoughts by re-reading each chapter twice.

How about you guys?

That is a great book. I think his family released the revised version just to profit off his concept, but other than that it really is a good book. I have it in my nightstand just to remind me to reread it at some point. He is right, if you can make people feel important then they will really respond positively to you.

Currently I am reading Free Lunch: How the Wealthiest Americans Enrich Themselves at Government Expense (and stick you with the bill) by David Kay Johnston. It will truely make you sick with anger at the current state of politics in the country. It really emphasizes the fact that America has definitely lost its moral compass.

I'm about to read The E Myth also. Maybe I should write up a review.

I'm reading the same thing! I'm only on chapter 2 but it's amazing so far. Also reading 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey. Great book as well.

Now I am reading The Name of the Rose by Umberto Eco and I like it greatly. It is a detective with the elements of history.

I remember when I read How to win friends. I was pretty stoked to pick up one of the original copies from the 50s from a thrift store. From the writing in it, it seemed to have been owned by some kind of salesman. I love the way old books smell

Right now I am reading "Raising Venture Capital for the Serious Entrepreneur"...A topic I want to get more familiar with.
