That is awesome that you are studying the book not just reading. One thing that i do is i highlight all things that stick out while reading then after I am done with the book I have someone go through and type everything I have highlighted. Now once I want to refer to something in the book I check there first and I have easy access to the information in the book. Just something I do thought you might like.

I'm currently reading Rich Dad Poor Dad. I have been hearing that it is a truly inspirational book.

I read it. Not bad if you like fiction. Robert Kiyosaki has been heavily criticized for pushing the book as if it were all true, but he has never produced any evidence of who the rich dad was. Apparently he has been debunked. If I recall, most of his money has come from the book sales as opposed to any real financial savy.

I am currently reading Gsniper by George Brown

It is a "ok" book for people starting out in SEO but I found it a bit slow paced and the order in which things happen are a bit odd, but it has taught me some stuff I would never have though of.

Currently Reading

I started a goal of reading one new book each week on September 22nd. Since that date I have read the following books:

"Ready, Fire, Aim" by Michael Masterson
"The New Rules of Marketing & PR" by David Meerman Scott
"The 4-Hour Workweek" by Timothy Ferriss
"The Law of Connection: The Science of Using NLP to Create Ideal Personal & Professional Relationships" by Michael Losier
"How To Get Rich" by Felix Denis
"The Sticking Point Solution" by Jay Abraham
"The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz

I have really become addicted again to reading and needless to say I have surpassed the projected goal. All of these have been tremendous reads and I plan to go back and reread them all again. Currently I am reading "Duct Tape Marketing" by John Jansch.

One More Thing!

"How To Win Friend and Influence People" should be read by ALL ENTREPENEURS.

Back In 2001 I met a man that decided to "take me under his wing" as far as mentorship goes. He made his money in Real Estate. He was making about 26 Million a year from just one of his Real Estate ventures. I asked him if he could recommend just one book what would that book be? He told me "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" I went to the bookstore that same day and bought it. It is a quick easy read and I was done within 2 days. That book planted a seed within me...A seed that continues to grow to this day.

what i'm reading

I'm reading a book called 'How Starbucks Saved My Life'. It's the true story about a man who was at the top of the corporate ladder and had worked for this advertising firm his whole life, only to be fired and replaced by someone much younger. his life is a mess and he winds up working at a Starbucks in NY. it's a very thought-provoking book
