My girlfriends mom came across some money well alot ofc money and is looking to invest it in something in a smart way but alo willing to be a little risky. What are your thoughts with todays economy what are some suggestions that you think she should do. She was thinking stocks/mutual funds but also taking advice on other things also she loves real estate and would love to get involved with buying/reselling homes thanks for all your help and advice and any advice will be greatly appreciated.

In this economy it would really be risk to get into real estate. Tell her to start on a very small project first just to see how that would go. Any more info contact me?

Invest in a pickup truck. Start a business that way. Lawn services, moving service, etc..

Government bonds for some of it. I would feel a little safer about that. The remaining can be used to explore. No reason to blow it all.

Its very risky. Better to think again and list down all the possibilities and alternatives.

ummm...this thing about matching people with appropriate investments is a bit tricky

the best investment she can make at the moment is to see a licenced financial planner to review her financial statements and objectives

unless this happens the probability of a mismatch is pretty certain

Knowing what you are goîng to invest and how you are going to invest will reduce the risks..

It is the not knowing that involves risks..

Example: Donald Trump thinks that real estate investments is not risky..
Warren Buffett thinks that stocks is not risky..
Becos they know what they are doing..

Invest in knowledge 1st..

Re : What are your thoughts on good investments right no

I think the right investment is low risk, good returns, minor loss risk. This all thing is done in real estate market.
In this market you get high return on the investment.
