Hi All,

I'm considering starting a blog/website specifically focusing on the Military Entrepreneur.

Q: Who is a Military Entrepreneur?
A: A servicemember, on active duty or reserves, that either has plans to become an Entrepreneur or currently is an Entrepreneur(when off duty). Military Entrepreneurs are also spouses of servicemembers that either plan on becoming Entrepreneurs or currently are.

I was thinking maybe using "SoldierPreneur" in the name. Some cybersquatter already took the domain www.soldierpreneur.com, so what I will probably end up doing is simply adding it as a subdomain to my current blog at www.trepnetwork.com. It would look something like:

www.trepnetwork.soldierpreneur.com
www.trepnetwork.com/soldierpreneur

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to post on my blog at TrepNetwork.com due to my current deployment with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, but we're beginning to get a little more downtime and in a few days I'll be near a computer, so I plan on posting at TrepNetwork and creating my new blog for Military Entrepreneurs.

Q: What will I talk about?
A: Helpful Tips, Resources, etc. for those who would like to do business with the military, run a business on a military base, etc. There is plenty of opportunity for servicemembers and spouses of servicemembers to start their own business even while in the military.

Sound like a good idea? Any suggestions or recommendations?

Also, I have yet to find a site like this... has anyone else run into a site like this... for military Entrepreneurs?

PS: Just some FYI... the 31st MEU was the unit that provided Humanitarian Relief support to the victims of the mudslides in the Philippines.

When I first started reading this thread I thought you were talking about soldiers of fortune...mercenaries!

By the way if anyone wants to contact me privately I am actually interested in starting a mercenary agency, there are plenty of countries left in the world where this is legal. Give me a PM if interested...you must have served in the armed forces of your country for atleast 12 years in the last 30.
