Hey guys,
At RawOnline, we have just released RawOnline CMS v.1.1, our very first Content Management System and I'd really love to get some opinions from web entrepreneurs out there as to what they look for in a CMS?
You can view a brief demo of our CMS at:
http://www.rawonline.com.au/cms.html
Basically we build each website individually by starting with a blank canvas and then adding each "Content Type" or "Add-On" to the CMS one-by-one from a bunch of easily-adjusted pre-built add-ons (such as Pages, Photo Gallery, Blog, HTML Content Block, Menus, Forms, Directories, Products, FAQs etc..).
We are hoping to develop a CMS where a web development project that would have previously cost $10k+ can now be done for prices more like $2-3k because of the simplicity with which we can add various Content Types. The downside is that, we have to build each one individually ourselves, however, with the time that most people invest in building a website, waiting a few days to have it built for you may save all the heart-ache of having to figure out how to use/edit CMS' which have been developed to appeal to the masses.
Your thoughts?
