This is not a bad site (a very good resource in fact), but it really needs to be given closer attention...

Here at YE, it is our goal to ensure a great forum for all our members.
We are bringing on a few new moderators to assist with the growth of YE.

Ive been requested to start a thread on Biometrics, which even though I am reluctant to do, will do anyway. Will there be mods available to watch over the site in a timely manner?

My concern is that a 'troll' who has nothing better to do than disrupt a debate/discussion will leave his garbage on a thread for too long a period before action is taken.

Seems to me like this is a fire and forget forum. Doesn't really seem to be any presence to it, its a bit dead. The moderators don't seem to have an interest in it, it is more effort than enjoyment.

I agree.
A mod can be put on in a few seconds.

Some small issues can be rectified by admin in a few seconds

But a few seconds is a long time if you dont want to do it.

Unfortunately for "BizGuy", ignoring the situation wont make it go away and the standard "BS" reply that you gives is not really warranted here, as some of us know what is required to fix the situation.

I see the latter being displayed by the admin.

I see about 10 more pics have been added to the avatars page- but please can you change the settings so that we can have our own custom avatars?
Its an easy way to tell people apart- + what do you have to lose?
