Thumbs up U in 10 Years?

    To All YE,

I was just curious to know where do you all see yourself 10 years from now? I'm talking profession or career, whether it be your personal life Where would you like to see yourself? And I know we still all young but did anyone see themselves 5 years ago at this point in time where they are today?

Yes, it will be pretty interesting to think or vision what I will be five years down the road.
I have only one aspiration. In three years from now, I want to be debt free meaning my house really is an asset and not on mortgage. By five years time, I should be able to travel the world with no financial constraint, whatsoever.
I feel this is good enough for me.

In 10 years I will be 34 and still consider myself a young entrepreneur hopefully. I will own the medical billing company that I have worked for since I was 13.

I will still be the owner of my part time web and logo design company, which is basically a hobby that makes me some side money.

And as for my aspirations, I will have successfully complete the site I am working on now and will have hopefully made it a success and sold it to a major corporation for a nice amount of money.

In ten years, I hope to have expanded my business to the point where I can just sit back as a figurehead and sign the paychecks, I also hope to have solidly invested my earnings in Real Estate.

Well now that I am 21, I no longer see myself in 10years where I want to be, but I know. Why? Well, when I was younger I loved dreaming about seeing myself owning my own business, otherwise having a very desirable position in the field I want to be in.

Now that I am just a year away from graduation with my Bachelors and headed towards my next major move (Well 2 at once), my dreams are clearly visible as goals I am heading towards.

So, where do I see myself: In 10years, I see myself as a business owner of a company involved in the automotive industry. Whether it being a partner in a chain of dealerships or owner of a successful automotive repair shop, and expanding it into a new chain, that's where I see myself. And within 5 years of that, I see myself creating another venture, opening up a restaurant and/or club or bar.

I see it happening as clear as if I were looking through a window from the inside, simply from how well I'm doing now.

10 years is a long time. In 7 years, I will have made at least my first $10 million by developing an apartment complex in a developing foreign country. I'll still be the same person, just with more money. I don't know much else because life is very spontaneous. All I know is that I'm very lucky and that I can handle whatever comes my way.

This is a good thread though. I enjoyed reading the responses.

I think it was Donald Trump that said you should treat yourself as the person you envision yourself in several years or whatnot. Treat yourself with the same type of respect and dignity that you would have for your future self in 5 or however many years.
