Here's some advice for the future: don't let people manipulate you. Whether they trick you into taking some action, or just control your emotions with some choice words, it dosn't matter. If somebody can make you follow their will without you knowing it, then you don't have a chance.
I toyed with you a little bit for my amusement this time. Next time, however, might actually count for something. You are young and inexperienced (more so than me, I assure you), and especially vulnerable to mind games. Learn to overcome this.
Now stay out my threads until you find something useful to say (and I don't mean your opinions), or next time I won't be so nice.

Man you have a twisted sense of humour.
Mental note to self: don't pay attention to this idiot in the future

Joe Joe Joe...
Do you even have any ideas how forums work?
Have you ever been a long term member of one?
Posting the way you do just serves to alienate the rest of the community. You will not find anything usefull from this thread now.
You have gained nothing.

It seems that sleekmedia is suffering from what I like to call Simon Cowell syndrome. The man watches too much American Idol, sees that although Simon Cowell is booed and jokingly hated, but ultimately has respect because his opinions are usually right on the target inspite of their bluntness and often harshness. However sleekmedia seems to believe that the source of this respect comes purely from being an idiot (I can think of a more appropriate four lettered word) He believes that it doesn't matter what your message contains, as long as it is strongly worded, nasty and insulting. Unfortunately for him, that isn't the case.

You do all realize that you can't sugarcoat everything for the rest of your lives, right? Somewhere, at some point, you're going to have to tell someone something that they don't want to hear.
I'm taking another long haitus from this board until the users switch again. I can no longer donate time and advice to you.

What the hell? Are you a spindoctor or something? You're the one that wants everything sugar coated. You're the one who bitched and whined about the advice because it wasn't what you wanted to hear - in other words, it wasn't surgar coated with your favorite flavor.
I guess you wanted everyone to kiss your ass and tell you how great your idea was, and when that didn't happen you threw a fit. You're right, this forum doesn't need you. Get over yourself and maybe you will actually succeed. Otherwise, go cry somewhere else.

Thanks for the compliment, but you've got the wrong idea. I am just an overworked and underpaid startup peep. I screw up and get shitfaced on Fridays just like the next guy.
I will observe one thing about this highly dysfunctional thread - compliments are for supermodels and investment bankers, startup peeps should be fed a steady diet of criticism, threats, rejections and abuse. Being nice to entrepreneurs, kills the spirit of enterprise.
If someone is kind enough to take the time and tell you that what you are doing is wrong - that's the best thing anyone can tell a struggling company founder. Do otherwise, and the entrepreneur won't have anybody to prove wrong.

Did I put too much sugar on the part where I called you an idiot?
