Yeah, you know, I think it's very important that there are motivational products out there that encourage young people to achieve.

Now..these products can work in a number of ways. All these mainstream personal development books/seminars on the market today work on the fear principle. These products function by killing someone's self esteem, so the victim feels obliged to buy the "10 steps for success" or some work of fiction that's supposed to give 'em life's answers.

It's a vicious cycle - firstly, the victim gets depressed, then he has to spend money fighting that depression trying to achieve unachievable, or incompatible goals; all this while they are encouraged to differentiate them selves from the wider community by calling their community derogatory terms like "employee" - and so then the victim is left alone, angry and confused - thinking; "what is the point of living my life if I'm not a millionaire?"

that's the wealth creation business. I've worked in it. the whole point of the game is to break down the self esteem of vulnerable people (the young, the unemployed, the uneducated) and then feed them all these thoughts about salvation...

these kinds of products (which trample people) I don't like because they are destructive. other products (such as junior achievement international) I do like - because they lead to real results and don't turn people into psyched out weirdos, with grand delusions of some magical carefree life where they do nothing but party down with "residual income"

First off, I control my own life. I chose my own actions. However, just because I control my own actions does not make me some sort of god. I don't process any power within to control what the universe gifts me.

Personal development is a practice whereby an individual or a group attempts self-guided improvement—economically, intellectually or emotionally.

Sure The Law of Attraction can fall under this category. But you don't control the universe.

Your telling me people who are dieing of diseases could of prevented them, if they just practiced The Law of Attraction. I've talked with numerous believers of The Law of Attraction personally.

I was listening to a seminar of a lady who answering questions for people as if she was some messiah. One lady started say. "I was recently diagnosed with...."

And the lady cut her off and told her why would bring a negative vibration up. If you don't bring that vibration up you won't have to worry about it.

Now I am sure what the lady was going to say is she was diagnosed with cancer. You think if she just stops bringing the word cancer up, she will be cured?

If you are in a car accident it's, your fault cause at one time you brought the vibration and the universe just gave you what you were asking for. Come on, you got in the accident because you were text messaging on your cell phone and not paying attention.

But hey what do I know, I'm 16.
