Suprising Problems with my Account

I have had to reset my password a couple of times now. Ever since I joined another forum, this has been happening. I cannot help but feel suspicious of the idea that the owners of that forum may be just entering the wrong password for my username in order to lock my account. You guys know who you are. It almost worked, but your forum has slowed down in the past couple of weeks, and I would rather be on this forum now.

It appears it happened again today. I think it would be great if our usernames were different than our display names. This way, no one would know anyone elses username. Then, people would have a hard time getting people locked out of their own accounts.

When do you the "forgot password" does it send it to you or does it just give you a reset link? Is it changed to something familiar to you?

The funny part is that you're actually serious about this.

The account is locked already. It is not that the password is wrong. The account is locked, like someone has been playing with and trying to log in, five times. I then have to reset it.
