My first thought was "again?!?!" but it's even on cnn.com. Nutty stuff.
Yeah I was pretty shocked... I mean he wrestles with cros and venemous snakes everyday.
And I wouldn't have thought a sting-ray would be very dangerous (they usually don't attack or anything)
He was a true (somewhat stereotypical) Aussie icon![]()

How sad for his family, this is too bad.
I really enjoyed watching his films and documentaries on British TV. Its a real shame he's dead - he's done a great job for promoting nature (or its danger anyway). He will be missed.

just saw the news on yahoo...thats terrible
"Im afraid this little bugger aint gonna make it" - its quotes like that, that I will miss. Sum ppl mightn't have liked him but there are few ppl who enjoy what they do as much as he did.
Rest in Peace.
he'll be missed greatly
I used to watch him all the time when i was younger... A great loss
Aww...I will really miss him..

Steve Irwin, a ture legend and will never be forgotten. Can't believe it was a stingray that killed him as they are never normally like that.
dies doing what he loved i guess, seems fitting for a guy who was "one with nature"

He was absolutely passionate about conservation and animal issues, and died while making a documentary. He was in his element. My deepest condolences to his wife, children, and family. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Mr. Irwin. Your journey is done.
