    Shipping via ground internationally

Hey folks. I'm new here and in search of some advice on how to find a company that will ship my goods by ground across the border to the US from Canada.

So far I've been turned away by Fed Ex, Purolator, DHL and Greyhound. UPS will do it for a rediculous rate.

My problem is the goods I am sending are considered dangerous because they are gasses. However, Transport Canada and US Transportation Authority recognize an exemption because it is in limited quantities.

Has anyone come across this before? Have any ideas for me?

Where specifically are you shipping to and from? Is the destination consistent or are you shipping all over the US? If you are shipping to and from the same location every time, you could consider hiring a person rather than a company... People have fewer rules than businesses. Would it be cheaper to have the products transported across the border and then hire a shipping company to distribute it?

Where in Canada are you shipping from? I live in BC and could check locally.
