"Sexual Healing" And Other Mood Music

Music plays an important role in our lives.

It can lift us up when we're feeling down.

It can inspire us, when we feel uninspired.

For example, when I'm in a romantic mood, I like to listen to the sensually erotic "Sexual Healing" by Marvin Gaye. Or "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love" by Barry White.

When I need inspiration, I listen to the powerful soul anthem "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" by McFadden & Whitehead.

When my energy level and enthusiasm are low, listening to "ABC" or "The Love You Save" by the electrifying Jackson 5 will re-energize me.

I'm not necessarily talking about music to work by...although that's fine.

I personally can't work online, when there's music playing.

I'm talking about the kind of music you listen to when you're just chillin'...away from the computer, at home or cruising in your car.

Well,

When I'm getting routine household "stuff" done [like in the morning], I like to listen to my two favorite songs by Sade Adu, "When am I Going to Make a Living" or "Hang on to Your Love" - they're awesome and timeless! And I like to play them LOUD with the bass pumping! [Click on those song titles to see music videos of her performing those songs live.]

When I'm feeling down [like when I'm feeling sad], I like to listen to something like Liz Wright's "Eternity".

But usually when I'm working, I listen to mostly smooth jazz.

I like to listen to Mozart while I'm doing graphic designs. I also like to listen to rap when I finish something. Keeps me motivated.

When I'm just chillin' out, I'd listen to bossa nova or 'cafe bossa'. Latin musinc is good. It's relaxing!

I also listen to rock songs. I have a number of fave bands. Their songs perk me up. Does anyone here listen to Bullet for my Valentine, Switchfoot or Breaking Benjamin?

There are some few ballad songs and trance music that I listen to. There are good Irish songs, too.
