Selling Domains. Easy; Hard; Depends who you are?

Hi everyone, I just joined YE and it looks like a good community and a good place to get tips on starting a business. Well I actually just joined a company which gives you your own website that you can choose to do anything with, but the main thing you do is sell it to others. It only cost $10 a month so I see it as a good way to test my marketing and advertising skills. I had some business cards and some signs made to get me started on selling the domains.

The way its set up is not to bad, you get paid $1 a month for each person you sell a website (domain name) to and $1 to who ever they sell one to which goes down 5 levels, and for every 5 you sell you get $100, but that's for each week. They also have leads you can buy for $3, but I have brush up on my "Boiler Room" skills before I try that.

Well if anyone has any good tips on how I can advertise that would be greatly appreciated. It seems to be a well established company. If you would like to check it out and tell me what you think of the company go to www.bdubc.ws This is the premade website they gave me i have not edited myself yet. Thanks for reading hope to see comments.

How about buying, creating and selling your own website aside from selling other websites?

Yeah your right I thought why pay them. Also there are places to set up websites for free, but after doing the math I see they set up a system to where you get paid and they get paid (more of course) to have people get domains under WS.

After looking at it looks like the company will keep $5 for every $10 they receive a month, and the weekly bonuses they actually give you twice what they make, but they will just get it right back the next month and then months after is profit for them.

I'm going to mainly do outdoor advertising for now, see how it goes.
I don't want to pay them 33 cents a day for nothing, haha so I hope to get enough people this month to where its free. Then everyone after that will be residual income.

Well I'll keep ya'll posted on my progress and thanks for the comments all feedback is appreciated.

You should also optimize your site(s) so you get TONS of FREE web traffic. Social Media is also very powerful if done right....the key thing there is to give DON'T look to get..it pays off in the long run.

Not sure how familiar you are with Internet marketing with SEO, PPC, Social Media, Site Monetization, etc. but you can learn A LOT at TheTrafficVault.com

There is definitely money to be made in selling domains. Although I prefer to flip websites, domain flipping can still be extremely profitable. You just need to have the traffic and leads to sell them. Try to do it fast too!

Wow thanks a lot for your comments. To keep you updated I have started to lean towards Internet marketing instead of outdoor. I've been learning new ways of gaining traffic. I'm going to start with some videos, and i've been putting my site in a lot of directories, but I don't know how much traffic that it can really generate. Someone in my upline provides a lot of tools and knowledge, and iv'e been all over the internet learning more about marketing.

Thanks for the tip SerialEntrepreneurs i will check out your sites. I may look into flipping websites and selling them later, but for now I'm going to learn more about how to just to gain traffic. I am defintley going to edit my websites i've already drawn up some ideas.

solokkhz thanks that is a great idea about the blog i may not do exactly that, I will probably make the website blog or forum based to keep traffic there though.

Thanks again for your comments I'm always learning something new. I am new to Internet Marketing and very interested, I'm not the type to give up so I'll keep you posted. Soon I'll have my own design on the site, tell me what you think; what may need or work or what is good about it. Well thanks again for your comments.
