Ok guys. Getting around 9,000 hits a month, hence the reason why im not going into tripple figures for the cost of the advertising! But this is only from the homepage, you will probably be targeting 25,000-30,000 people a month, becasue your adverts will be on every single page of the forum; even the member log in area!

About 65% from the UK, 25% from the USA and 10% from other countries.

Can I see some traffic screenshots? What do you use to monitor traffic?

    Hi Sophie

I dont use a tracker, but I have this:

    http://i354.photobucket.com/albums/r...Screenshot.jpg

I payed to remove the built in adverts at about half eleven this morning, and the number you see was on 150,000 and its now on 149,711 which shows 289 hits today from half elevn this morning. This is only a count from the homepage, and today has, unfortunately been quite a quiet day

UPDATE I am starting a new Professional Services Directory, and you can have a listing in there for £3 a month. If you have a professional service, and you want it advertised, take a look. This is a photography related site, and the sections you can choose from are:

    Family and Portrait Services
    Web Hosting Services
    Model and Glamour Services
    Other Websites
    Personal Photography
    Printing Services
    Wedding Services
    Other Proffessional Services

    Hi Jamie!

First let me say that 9,000 hits/month (unique?) is impressive so keep up the good work!

One word of advice though is you might want to consider upgrading your forum board from phpBB to vBulletin as the latter have more "street cred" to business owners / advertisers versus the former that anyone can download for free. I'm definitely not against open source but when it comes to forum boards it's just the way it is.

The VB platform is the way to go at the moment io am changing all my forums over the VB its not free but its the best out on the market,it has a facilty to import all your data from many platforms including phpBB so you dont loose anything. This Forum YE uses the VB platform the details are at the bottom of the each page.If you want to expand your site and get better revenue VB has to be the way forward.
