this hits the nail on the head... just manage your time better.

Hell if you are studying as an economics pro, you know you have only 24 hours in a day. that's the raw sum you have to work with... You can cut your work-study-personal life into less and less chunks each or you can double your efficiency (or tripple etc). (be more efficient or do less or continue stressing out)

At some point though, there isn't a way to get the same amount of work done in less time just by being more efficient. And if at this point there are still 30 hours of work to get done in a 24 hour day, it comes down to a cost-benefit analysis. Better not spend much time analyzing them though!

Yeah, I can relate to some extent. I try to take less classes, but in the end, my grades slide because my business goals take priority. I think it all depends where your priority is at. With school, my goal is a degree for more credibility in my career down the road. School is more about networking and opportunities, not grades. I don't mind getting by with B's and C's.

Today it was funny. I took a pop quiz in my finance class, and without having even read the chapter, or having been in class the last week for lecture, I got an 80. Half the class is worried about failing. I could be an A student if I wanted to, but my energy is best spent elsewhere. That's how I usually deal with schoolwork.

But overall, like taz said, it's about time management and how much you want to extend yourself. If you have 15 different goals, you'll be mediocre at best with all of them. Less goals means more time to focus on what you really want.

And I think we all waste time on things that we wouldn't admit to others necessarily. I catch myself binging on Youtube videos occasionally. I think spending too much time on forums can easily become a habit as well. I'm sure all of us can make more time if we want.
