Its mostly smaller groups (10-30) but it can be quite fun when you get to know everyone. Available in most major cities.

I'm with www.meetup.com , and have attended 4 networking events with them so far. Unfortunately, I am the only one who showed up. It's a great concept, but the word just hasn't gotten out yet. I'm going to keep with them, and hope that, down the road, more people will become aware of it in my area. The problem isn't the site or the concept, it's just that it hasn't caught on here yet. Personally, I think it's a great idea.

It must be the number of government workers out there in Ottawa!!

Perhaps they should lay some off so that they can start their own business, then you'll get more people going to those meets!
