    Respect

Do you get respect from people when they know you have a business? I think most entrepreneurs like the "higher status" that comes with owning a business.

Who doesn't? They can deny it for all they like, but it is still true for most entrepreneurs.

Yes, I believe this is true. I always get chosen to be the leader of my peers because they respect my entrepreneur status.

I've had a few haters in my life, but most people I know do respect me more.

Most people associate entrepreneurs as leaders who always try hard to create solutions.

So many times entrepreneurs fail and fall in their efforts, But they keep trying new ways to succeed with faith and enthusiasm.

Not so many people can do what entrepreneurs do and that is why people respect entrepreneurs.

Most people respect that you have the courage to venture out of your comfort zone, as they know how difficult that is. But there will also be people who can't wait to see you collapse because they do not want you to achieve what they can't achieve.

Many people are impressed, but it's all for naught if you can't produce and be satisfied with your own performance. I do what I do for me and my family.....they are the people I will be with 20 years from now.

Don't spend time worrying about what people think of you... thats garbage! Concentrate on your money and growing your business... who cares if people think you're 'cool' or if they respect you just because you run a business... f them!

Really great point! I mean do they respect you as a person? OR do they just respect your power status? That's why it's always good to have close friends even before you start a successful business. There are a lot of leeches in this world who are attracted to power because they themselves lack it.

I think people respect you for being an entrepreneur, but a lot of people put on a front.

For young entrepreneurs especially your friends envy you and a lot of the time they will tell you all this great stuff to your face, but will go behind your back talking shit because they can't do what you do.

But I don't get mad, I just get money.

    haha

True who cares about others? Your in it for yourself, not others.

So make your money and if you gain respect on the way, well that nice,
but if you don't then who cares? You weren't looking for it to start with.

But still, a lot like the status that comes with the role.
