    Regret Not Getting A Degree?

Do successful young entrepreneurs; the ones without degrees, ever regret not graduating?

It's a prestigious thing to be able to say "well, I didn't need that extra education to be this successful", but a degree is sometimes more than just a qualification.

Sometimes you say the most enlightening, useful things. Then other times you say things such as this.

Haha...that's funny. But surely not all young entrepreneurs are degree-hating people?

In my case, sometimes I wake up hating degrees and other times it's the complete opposite.

What I find interesting is that the majority of young entrepreneurs here without a degree always argue that it's not worth it. Very interesting. Thoughts?

I thought you were in the process of getting or just got a degree. Guess I'm just blurring all the posts from everyone together.

Lots of you degree-haters have missed a crucial point why you should get a degree. Getting a degree is not always to get knowledge, nor to get that topjob but getting a degree makes you trustworthy. I think it's easier to gain peoples respect when doing business if you have a degree of any kind.
Might be wrong, might be right, find out for yourself. I myself are thinking about getting a degree when I am done with high school, it depends in what area I will do my business in.

    Regards
    L

    nice!

I really dont think it matters whether you get a degree or not. So what if you decide to get a degree it doesn't make you less of a successful person. If you DON'T' get a degree it doesn't make you less of a successful person either. If you want to learn more about a certain subject then why not go for it. But if you want to become an entrepreneur, It is definately proven that it is not required to have a degree from a formal school and you can still become very successful.

    BUT...

You will need a degree from The School Of Hard Knocks.

O yeah to answer the question,

I regret Getting a degree only because the courses taught me how to become a professional, Not an individual who hire's professionals. I guess what I really wanted was to be an entrepreneur, and Learn how to create wealth, and teach others.

I don't regret getting a degree, it helps me somehow in my IT field.

But definitely it doesn't require any entrepreneurs to have a degree.
