Well, if the car dealership is for good cars, try selling cocaine to better clients

Seriously though, there's always affiliate marketing.
Obviously you know a fair bit about cars through your job (or at least I hope so), so you'd be able to run a car blog, or even a blog as a retail monkey, and then lace it with links to your automobile affiliation programs.

Then there's also just some fire-and-forget style affiliate campaigns based around cost-per-action models... but generally you need to find a good quality TLD and a little SEO knowledge for that, and good TLDs are not so easy to come by cheaply nowadays.

You could always try starting up an eBay business in your spare time. Just set up an account, PayPal account, and find a good wholesaler. That's pretty much all you need.

If you work at a car dealership, I would think the best way you can immediately increase income is to sell those cars. So instead of building an affiliate marketing program, I would use that same energy to build your sales prospects online. Ebay is a great avenue where maybe you could list the cars on your lot and gain a lead or two. Maybe also list your cars on a blog, and then network the blog to optimize traffic to it. Those are some examples off the top of my head, but work to sell those cars and get those commissions!

This is good advice.. I'm in a car business.. so if you work at a dealership and you want to make more money.. sell more cars. Experiment with different sales platforms.. hell maybe you'll get lucky and impress someone at the dealership.
