I am in the midst of creating a stock market forum. For a genre other than selling something, such as an entrepreneur forum or a stock market forum, would you utilize a chatroom?

yes i would, i like it over at namepros they use it for domain auctions as well which is wednesdays 9pm EST and thats in a special room on the chat room. The normal chat room is very good, where everyone shares advice and tips on domian buying and prices and im sure it would be the same on your forum

Thanks for your feedback, i will probably use the same thing in my forum but for stock market purposes.

No, I wouldn't. I think chat rooms either go unused, or take away discussion from the actual forum.

well i suggest you go and have a look over at namepros the forum is always busy and the chat room is busy as well roughly around 21 people in their all the time except on auctions night. They have thousands of members, ok some don't use it but it is always active and they do advise and help you out if needed
