    Please review PhonePrize.com

    Hey guys,

I just launched PhonePrize.com. Please visit the landing page and let me know what you think. I am especially looking for critiscm because I am always looking to improve conversion. I feel like it needs more but can't put my finger on it. Anyways, it's 100% free if you want to go past the landing page and look inside.

    Thanks
    Al

If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.

I've always wondered how much information like that is worth. Would you be able to disclose how much you earn per customer?

    It varies per action.

I took a print screen of the top half of the page in Internet Explorer in a resolution of 1024x768 which i really recommend you should look at heres the link i uploaded it too: http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/3076/untitledfi4.png

You will see what im talking about. Other then that i generally like the site, you've done a good job with it

Pm me and ill give you a link to a site that tests your site in a large number of browsers and shows you screenshots so you know if it looks right and if you have to make any alterations

I think the site looks good, just might want to check for glitchs and make sure all the tables line up... Good luck with the site...

Seems pretty cool, however the images are REALLY choppy. The site needs to be cleaned up a bit, but otherwise great!

Why in the world would you want him to pm you for the link? Why not just share the link with the forum? It sounds like useful information.

    Aletheides:

    I'm viewing with IE7, 1152x864.

My first impression of the site is that something has gone awry with the tables. Stuff is just kind of spattered all over the place with no logical layout or flow. You might want to rethink the general content structure. What should the visitor see first? Prizes? That prompts a question... "what do I do to get these prizes?" Then should come the "how." But instead the "how" is below the fold, and my eyes go to "sign up for free" and "affiliates." That'll never do! At that point I'm thinking "oh, another crappy pop-ad for a free xbox or something..." and I just leave.

In the actual implentation, make the site a little more friendly to smaller resolutions. Use percentage tables widths instead of actual pixel widths. Many many people still use 800x600. Also, learn how to use tables more effectively/liberally in general. Nothing lines up as it is.

The graphics need work too - you can see white jagged borders around almost every graphic. I hate to say it, but you need to go into photoshop, zoom way in, and erase those white bits with a 1-pixel sized brush. It's a pain, but things look so much more professional in the end. I have spent many hours with that 1-pixel eraser...

Sorry to be so negative. As it is though, it just looks like a big mess. I couldn't even figure out what the site was about for a good 10 seconds - most internet users will leave if the site does not have a very concise purpose up front.

Please do let us know if/when you update it!

Like an angel from heaven! Thanks for taking the time to write this up for me. I'm getting a designer to re-do it today and hopefully I'll be able to get some feedback on the new design from everyone..
