Official New Site Question Thread
The new site design looks awsome!...
Is it as slow for everyone else as it is for me?
even scrolling down the page seems to hang for a couple of seconds
and what can I do with my points?
James.

points etc.
Hi there justoneuk,
It doesn't seem slow on my end when scrolling down.
As I mentioned in another post, we are working on a few tweaks to speed things up as far as load time goes etc.
Also, regarding the points: With each quality post, reply, new thread etc., you accumulate points which will soon enable you to purchase things through the new YE store. We will also be doing monthly prizes based on Points accumulation etc.
Thanks for the compliments on the new design!
Lots of things to come.
Thanks for the feedback,
Adam T.

What screen resolution was the site optimized for?

What determines whether a post is quality or not, in figuring out how many points you get?

jasaunders,
That is a good question, I was wondering the same thing. It seems as though the length of the post has something to do with it, but that really doesn't make much sense does it?

Creadiv, when it comes to competitions, it won't be a competition for the first person to get to 10,000, we'll wait for a few people to get to 10,000 and then have a join staff decision over which user has helped YE out most as a community .
David, I'm using 1920x1200 and 1280x1024. I'm not sure what the skin designer used to design it in but it is not specifically optimized for any resolution.
richkid, I'm able to bank my points. Just go here http://www.youngentrepreneur.com/for...item&name=bank, type in the number and click deposit.
Oh and the only reason it would hang when you scroll is because of your computer, as the entire web page has loaded by then.

2. When do I find out if I win the lottery?

Official New Site Question Thread
Seeing as there are lots of questions about the new site I thought I'd add this thread and move all the loose posts into it.
jasaunders to answer your questions,
1. In order to thieve some points of someone else you have to have the number of points you wish to steal first, it's a double or nothing scenario. There is a 10% chance of success, but you can't steal points out of someone else's bank.
2. I believe they will show up on a page somewhere but I'm not sure where, I didn't code this system and I've never used it before so it's new for the both of us .
