Part of me says "Good, I am glad that this type of hypocracy and scandal depicts a politician that didn't practice what he preached" and the other part of me feels awful for his wife and three kids, those kids are going to have one hell of a time at school and amongst friends now, at no fault of their own.

My grand-daddy told me, "Never stick your pen in the company ink."
I know this is not really the same thing, but when you work so closely with people in these types of businesses, in Spitzer's case he was trying to shut them down as DA, sometimes seeing how these guys "live" starts to look pretty good.
This ain't an excuse, I'm disgusted by it, but any guy here place who has ever been to a strip club says he ain't thought about taking the stripper home is lying through his teeth.
I'm just sayin'.

Yep, he has no friends on Wall Street, now he has to sink... or may be he may survive as Clinton did. But with a prostitute is worse than Monica... or may be it's just that Monica didn't get paid commercially.

Monica was very well reimbursed, though certainly not directly.
I bet Spitzer recovers from this without resigning. He spoke about resigning, but at the end of the day, he was weighing his options. The history is that when a member of the Democrat party is discovered to be involved in something like this the threshold for resignation is much higher than for a Republican.
In other words, they tend to get away with more.

Agreed that they get away with more Taz. I was glad to see that he stepped down, as I mean honestly, how could anyone give him credibility and clout after such an event like this. Everytime he would speak at a meeting or event or on an issue everyone would simply be thinking of this situation.

Wasn't Spitzer one of the people leading the charge against games like GTA because they allowed you to have virtual sex with virtual prostitutes?
I guess he was really advocating that people should get out of the house and try the real ones.

OK, I am not advocating that what he did was acceptable.
So, from the business point of view, with his great amount of experience, would you hire him to work for your company or will he tarnish your company's image?

Tarnish, absolutely. These are actions you can never live down if you are not in the lime light, let alone being the figure he is now. People would automatically judge your decision for hiring him, as well as your companies brand/competency because he is so morally low right now.
