Note to Microsoft: When are you going to get your act together?

Seriously Microsoft.... I've been a supporter of you over the past few years while everyone bashed the crap out of you and this is how you treat me? I don't know which one, but one of the three Windows 7 updates you decided were worthy of being released on the 23rd has a serious flaw in it. It just so happens to prevent my system from booting. I'd call that a bit of an issue, wouldn't you? Put some more effort into checking your updates before releasing them please. Thank you.

P.S. After using your terrible system recovery tool, my boot time has increased from about 15 seconds to well over 2 minutes.

One more comment.. Now I need to reinstall this stupid p.o.s. you call an operating system because I can't boot even after I restored my system. Not a very effective tool now is it?

That is not good news about Win 7 that is why i wont use a new OS for a minimum of 12 months after release to sort out alot of the problems, most of our computers are still running the rock steady xp pro but one of ours does use that rubbish vista version that just memory hungery.

I just threw LinuxMint 8 onto my desktop. It's pretty sexy. I'll try to dual boot Win7 in a few days after I become less pissed. lol

    Microsoft

Yup, I'm with you. Upgraded from Vista to Windows 7.
They promised it would interface easily with all my existing programs and drivers, but that was not the case. Had to spend small fortune on many new programs, many others don't work quite right with Windows 7 but I was able to salvage most components. Very disappointing.

I actually love the interface and I never had a problem with Win7 up until this latest update.
