Hmm

I think you are trying to cover too many sports.

Why would I join your board if I wanted to talk about football, when I can join a board that is 100% dedicated to football with members that are all football fanatics.

Pick a niche and go with it.

Change the font colour of the blue, as the blue and black don't work well together keep it nice and simple like here and places like namepros etc,if you keep the skin make the headers white too!

Also looking at the sports you should narrow them down in to sections and have sub-sections of those i.e.
Racing(section) > F1, Rally, Nascar(sub-sections) etc
