Hi everyone! I'm new here. I recently got a job as a salesman, but I've never sold anything before. I was hoping some of you expert salesmen out there can help me out with some good advice for increasing sales. Thanks!

What is it that you will be selling.
Sales aren’t rocket science.
What is it that you will be selling?
Few very simple things that I like to go by and that work for me.
Always remember you have two ears and one mouth for a reason. If you are asking the right questions the customer should be doing the majority of the talking.
Always ask open question.
Never be scripted.
Treat ever customer differently
And never forget the pen.
Best of luck with it
Know your product......Plain and simple. When you know what your selling you will have confidence in yourself and your product. This confidence will radiate to your customers which will make you more influential.
"With great power comes great responsibility"
We are selfish creatures. Don't blab about you and your company, they don't care. Create a need through questions and how your product/service will benefit them.
What are you selling?
Thanks for your responses. I'm selling website building software to end users and small businesses.
So as far as I understand, my role as a salesman is to act as the contact point that matches what the client needs to the solution that meets their needs.
