For the last four weeks, I've been interviewing successful network marketers/internet marketers. I just completed my 4th show. I like to have your comments or suggestions.

I do not like network marketing (MLM). Most of them focus on the network and the products or value proposition to customers is an after thought. IMHO it's not even a true business opportunity because of all the restrictions involved.

As far as I'm concerned network marketing is a sales job that you have to pay someone to start. Not a very good deal if you look at in that light. The companies selling these products take on little or no risk and push all this risk on to the new "Representative".

It's a win-win for the Network Marketing firm. If the sales rep works out great we have lots of new people and sales. If the new person fails who cares we are out a little time and paper-work recruiting them. (most of that cost, if not all of it, is recouped in the initial start-up fee charged to the Rep.)

What business can you start without any investment? Most MLMs charge less than $100.00 for a start-up kit.
Ask McDonald's if you can get a franchise for FREE.
Also, I don't think most of the people on this forum are looking for sales jobs!
It's Youngentrepreneur forum...not...Youngesalesperson forum.
There are some advantages for someone joining the right MLM program.

Our product is FREE so my program is not right for a MLM.
