    Need Some Advice?

Hello everyone, I have a few questions. My sister & I are thinking about starting a small diner; serving breakfast & lunch only.
We are unsure about how to go about doing it.

What do we need to do to get a loan?
What do we need to show the bank for the loan?
    Do we need a permit?

And anything other info that you think may be useful, is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help.

First of all I think that only providing breakfast and lunch will be an extremely large task since most of a restaurants income comes from dinner! Getting a loan at this time is very hard because of the economy and the banks are really too fast on loaning to people without any strong original income! Maybe try a private investor - if your idea is good enough then you never know what could happen!

    Thanks for the advice.

If we did decide to stay open for dinner, it would be light dinners, like soups, salads and stuff like that.

To find investors maybe try going to the angel list on a site called venturehacks. It has a pretty large database of investors! Has anyone else got any sites that let entrepreneurs put their ideas to investors?

Yeh that wouldn't be a problem, you should just make sure that you have a product that your market will love - that way it is hard to go wrong! Maybe try a couple of surveys or just ask people what they think in your local area!
