Ok. This is just getting annoying.

For several days now, you've been posting the same spam, attempting to disguise it as a request for the review of your website, several times each day.

STOP!

While you think you're being sneaky and generating business, what you don't realize is that people can see right through it, find it annoying as hell, and are less likely to use your services than if you just came out and told them, ONE TIME, that it is an advertisement.

Stop while you're behind.

No actually, im looking for advice, and I find it very rude and degrading and unprofessional that you would post something like that. I have spoken to many people on this forum and given and asked for advice. So, id appreciate it if you would keep your nose out of my business and find someone else to be rude to

THANK YOU!

Why do you post the exact same message multiple times every day?

The part of your message that makes it very spam like is that you don't just ask for information...you promote specials for what you're selling. If you're looking for info, then ask for the info.

Also, this isn't the right section for this question. It should be in the Website Review forum of the General Internet section.

To answer your question though, OS Commerce is a good e-commerce website. The one things that I don't like about it is that it isn't streamlined. If you want to improve the functionality, hire an OSC developer to help you streamline your order process. Also, you need to optimize the images on your websites for the different products. The images are way too big and load very slowly.

And to add to that, you post the exact same message multiple times every day. As a potential customer, I'd much rather you come out and say, "Hey, here's what I have to offer," than post as you currently do. It creates a sense of dishonesty.

I have run into many other spam postings here. I dont see you telling them something. the only reason i post it on all the forums is because if i dont get an answer in one ill get an answer in the other. Your being very disrespectfull and I do not appreciate it. So Im asking nicely that you please stop. Thank you for your opinion but it is no longer needed.

I respect that, but I similarly believe that you're being disrespectful by posting the exact same message over and over and over in different threads every day.

Can you imagine the chaos that would result and how much worse this site would be if everyone did the same thing that you're doing?! Everyone making the same post 4 or 5 times a day every day in different threads, just "because if [they] dont get an answer in one [they'll] get an answer in the other?"

Be respectful. Be fair. Be a good YE citizen.

I agree with both of you, Chemist, I have done the same thing (posted in different parts of the forums) because different people read different parts of the forum, and I have also came across many spam threads and nothing was said..but with that being said, it is quite annoying (and this is what I have been told) to post in many parts of forums, you would get better responses by posting in just the review forum, trust me. It takes up space and people get tired of seeing the same post when they enter a different area. JMenq could have been nicer about it, but you have to realize...thats who he is...search his name and there are many posts about his rudeness, but he is not doing it to hurt your feelings, its part of his candor...not saying its right, but its not just you.

You can also advertise your site in the classifieds part of the forum.

Just My 2c.
