I apologize for my earlier thread titled "Wow who knew". I wasn't trying to make it as cryptic and confusing as I did; I was just trying to stir up interest in the competition in a creative way. If you haven't already guessed the person who I was referring to, who has made the finals in the YouBeTheVC competition is Myself (AbovAverageJoe1). I was just recently notified and I thought I would enlighten my fellow members of the young entrepreneur forums. At this stage the top 20 finalists have only a video pitch and a 100 word description of their idea to complete. Both will be available in the next few days at the YouBeTheVC website. After that the voting process will go into the hands of america and the top three vote getters will receive commercial guidance, wisdom and funding towards turning their ideas into functioning businesses. What I'm not going to do is leverage my membership as a method to squeeze some cheap votes out of the community. What I will do is encourage The Young Entrepreneur Forums to visit the competition website in the coming weeks, carefully watch and review the 20 video pitches and 100 word descriptions, and vote on which ones you think are the best. I have gotten to know most of my fellow competitors and I can gladly say that all of their ideas and innovations are worthy of the top three in my estimation.

So once again I urge this community to visit and vote at the YouBeTheVC website if not to support your fellow forum member, then to Behold the vibrant spirit of entrepreneurship that still exists and lives within us all.

See, if you'd just said "Hey, I'm in this comp for Y.E.s, and I have a chance to win if you guys vote for me", I'd have been "Good on ya, mate!" and followed whatever link you sent me to (other than a rickroll)...
