Anyway, I have a sort of 'strange' personality when it comes to being motivated about things. I can get motivated about doing a particular thing very easy, and can quite easily work constantly, and basically live and breathe what I'm motivated about at the time. However, these 'spurts' usually last for no more than 2 months or so, and then I get motivated about something else and do the same thing over again.
For example, I might find myself really motivated about my university studies, and I'll simply just start working flat-out on my homework and actually enjoy it (believe it or not, lol) until it wears off after a couple of months. Then I'll latch on to something completely different, and do the same thing there... and basically keep continuing the cycle.
On the bright side, I don't have any lapses where I'm lazy and don't feel like doing anything, so I feel that there's got to be a way so I can stay on track with one particular idea/task for a much longer time. However, I'm not really sure how I can go about this! The only thing I can think of is possibly 'replenishing' my motivation levels by reading relevant books, etc, or possibly trying to cut down a bit on what I am motivated about in case I'm 'burning out'.
Is it just me or does anyone else have a similar personality? Does anyone have any thoughts on how I can resolve this?
