Remember the old saying: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Almost no one gets rich quick. I think most experienced members here on YE will attest that you can't be successful without LOTS AND LOTS OF HARD WORK. And even then you still might not be. Your best bet is to take some of the advice above and start working on something real.

By the way, if you found a way to get rich quickly, and it worked every time, would you really take the time to create a program to show everyone else in the world how to do it? I sure wouldn't!

If they were really that easy, the people selling them would be using their time to make more money with them rather than selling the "gimick" to others.

I feel the same way, I've been scammed a bunch of times. I think I'll just stick to what I know and not some "get rich quick" scheme.

I agree with everyone else abt the get rich quick deals.... The main reason myspace, facebook, craigslist.com, tmz.com, perezhilton.com, etc have become sucessful is because of the advertising. If you advertise by paying tons of $$$ then you may be sucessfull. But if you dont have the funding for that, your usually SOL

After those sites became a popular name, then they start charging an ass ton of money for advertising on their site. For example, perezhilton.com wants $9,000 per week for a little banner ad. And up to $80,000 for a month banner ad thats a little bit bigger. there is alot of money on advertising. But its hard to blow up like those sites have without the $$$

Actually, none of those sites paid "tons of $$$" for advertising to become successful. They each grew by word of mouth. However, you are correct that they make their money from advertising.

I think you mis-read my post, but I guess its my fault because I see where I didnt make myself clear
.......... I never said THEY paid $$$ for advertising, I said they became sucessful because of advertising. I know they became popular because of word of mouth, but to me, I consider word of mouth a way of advertising. Nowadays there is so much competition in the internet world, in order to catch up with the big sites out now as listed above, you will want to pay $$$ for advertising. Myspace, facebook, craiglist took a while to get started. It wasnt an overnight sucess. They all took some time. They just didnt get popular until everyone started talking about it...Yes it was word of mouth, but if you want the "get rich" quick way, paid advertising is a must

I too have tried many of these types of programs with little success. Be wary of programs that have restrictions that contradict common sense business practices. Also, be wary of programs that ask you to invest more money then time. Time (effort) is the true key to success not your ability to throw money down the toilet.

Try something that has tangible assets. Have you ever thought about an eBay Reseller Store? I know a handful of people who make a 'living' doing that.

If you develop a base strategy that you can survive with then maybe one day you'll find a niche you can exploit for big profits.

Good luck! Any the forums are always here to bounce ideas off of!

The 97% are those people who want the easy way out. Even with a great product, an opportunity seeker will still fail if he doesn't have the mindset, marketing, and mission to make it happen. Like any business, treating it part-time / hobby won't cut it for you. Many will fold easily under the notion that just because they bought the opportunity to make money that they are also entitled to the wealth share even without putting as much effort and time as the other 3%.

Just my two cents.

I agree wit you jgbaylon, 97% want the rewards without the effort.

Most do not have a clue of what it takes in time to develop a business online or off.

I joined "an internet get rich quick scam as others put it" and make a good living from it with a super product.

Did it happen over night...NO! Did it take a considerable amount of effort and money to promote...YES!

I was able to get a quick start which was a stroke of luck and a lot of sweat equity to finance further advertising.

Is it consistently growing...Yes! Do the people at the top make all the money ...No, as it is not MLM. This is what most fail to comprehend.

It is networking...YES and that is what you must do to promote any business.

Also as with any business, it is your baby and you must tend to it if you wish to succeed.

There are many scams with promises on the net however, there are excellent opportunities to earn an income from home.

You must due some serious DD before you become involved, as with any business. AND IT REQUIRES WORK! You cannot sit back on your butt and expect to make money. I don't care what any one promises, it requires effort. You can't poke at it with a stick and hope to move forward.

It really depends on you and how passionate you are in your endeavors.

I've built traditional businesses and online businesses and all require a good bit of time. You know what though...if your having fun (passion) you don't mind.

Now there are those that sky rocket to the top of any program, but they put their time, money and effort into developing a data base over the years. They never quit though, even after all the heartbreaks.

As far as the figures quoted on failures that applies to most businesses.
