What's wrong with this one?
"And how about that tv commercial where the lady claims to have made over 2 million dollars in the last 9 years working part-time from home"
I would definatly believe that one.

To be young, is to be sad, is to get high
SO, as a 20 year old cell phone slinger for the cut-throat wireless world of at&t, i couldn't agree with you more. I have been searching long and hard for an at least "simple" way to make some money, (preferrably online) and it is ridiculous how much the internet has changed with it's scams over the last 10 years. The days of simple credit card scams and bank account number thievery are long gone. Nowadays, people simply put up an obviously bogus opportunity to make money online, and people line up like cows to a slaughter. I personally used to use ebay about 5 years ago selling ralph lauren products online for maybe 20$ profit per listing, and made some pretty decent money. Oh how the times have changed... Now you have these Douchebags who corner the marker with their ridiculously low prices on ebay, along with ebay raising their fees to a God awfully high amount, leaving no room for ANY profit with most items. Consumer Electronics = a sinking ship these days. Are there any good wholesalers out there anymore? Obviously any wholesaler who you have to pay to sell for is completely fraudulent. Me personally, i'm just looking to have a good wholesaler whos products i could put on ebay and (after fees and all) make a good 10 dollars per listing... (you see, not all of us get free rides through college by our parents, some of us have to do whatever it takes to make it through...) personally i don't think that much to ask, but these days, it seems to get harder and harder. Does anyone out there have some advice for a young, soon to be entrepreneur? Just PM me with any answers, any advice at all would be greatly appreciated....

I disagree. That's right, I completely disagree.
Yes, there are quite a few people on YE that look for a magic pill to be rich, with practically no effort involved. But, there are sometimes legitimate posts that YE'ers completely mis-understand or take out of proportion, probably because they are so used to the scammers spamming on here. Why do I say this? I've been a victim.
Lookee here. There is working hard and working smart. It's a great combination when you do both. I have seen some people ask questions that pertain to working smart. Sure, they neglect that they are happy to work hard on the scheme that is smart, after all, a smart scheme is going to produce greater rewards than a retarded scheme.
But, many YE'ers seem to equate someone looking for a better way to do something as someone who wants something for nothing, or doesn't want to work hard, etc. I beg all of you to please carefully read posts coming in and ask yourself, is this person really looking for something for nothing, or are they looking for a better and more efficient way to achieve the same results? Are they specifically posting "I'm looking to make money but not work hard"? Do you judge these people as not willing to work hard simply because they didn't make a mention of it?
Take a moment and see if the person is actually looking for a system to work had that will produce results instead of working hard on something that barely produces results. I agree, there is no free ride in this world unless you live in my state of Massachusetts and get on welfare. But, I see lots of these posts as people wanting to find a way to work hard at something and see good results instead of working hard, like most people, to see miserable results.
I call them "smart systems" and most successful entrepreneurs I know agree that working smart is more important than working hard when building a business. The concept of working hard has been engrained in us. Perhaps its because even if the results are poor, we can satisfy our ego that we at least tried by working hard.
So I ask you all to please consider my point here before judging everyone who is looking for a better way to succeed as someone that is looking for something for nothing, because if you choose to continue to view the world like that, in my opinion, that's pretty damn ignorant.

Great post. Unfortunately too many people are looking for an easy way to do things. As you pointed out. You have to put in the hard work to earn your success.

Good points in the post. I've found that anyone who claims to have made it big in a very short time finds out that the bling can be gone very quickly. Successful entrepreneurs love what they do. They're not going for the big bucks. We're willing to leverage to the hilt, grow a business, and enjoy getting up and putting in a hard day's work every day. Well, maybe not every day.
