Hi Gene,
Not sure if this is the kind of thing you're looking for, but Elements Web Services has a newsletter that I'm sure goes out to a lot of people. Not sure of the numbers, but I'd imagine it's over 1000. Also, Garcya's Web Design Blog has over 19,000 readers and over 2,800 subscribers. Not an e-zine, but might help in some way.
