Hello again-

I need some more help. I know I have posted this same question twice, but I need some help. Ok I need a logo designed for my company. I had this one guy from this site doing it, but he flacked out on me and never answers my emails, so I just came to the conclusion that he is not doing it.

I am willing to pay up to $75.00 for a logo. I need people to contact me by email if you are willing to do it. My email address is: jr@mye5.com please I need some help. Also be ready to show me some other logos you designed so I can see the kind of work you do. I am also writing the details below so you can kind of get a idea of what I am looking for.

Details:

I own a Extreme Sport company, so the logo must look extreme like, kind of like a surfer look, but not all about water and surfboards, if that makes sense.

Like I said I will pay up to $75.00 for the logo to be done. Since I was ripped off once I am sorry I do not pay anything upfront, but I will do a contact with you if you are scared about not getting payed.

I have to see some other logos or designs you have done, in a email is fine or if you have a website, let me know that too.

I prefer to see the design layout before you finalize it on the computer, just in case it is not to my liking.

I am looking for a person for doing more then just one design, what I mean by that is, I want someone who can do deigns for me in the future, build a friendship between companies.

The logo will be used on clothing, our website, and for Print.

It needs to have a transparent background so I can put it on any color of background and it will fit right in.

My company is a legal entity registered in Washington State.

Unfortunately I do not start a project unless I receive 50% up front. 50% is paid upon completion of acceptable work.

I also will draft up a service agreement for the protection fo BOTH of us. Please check your mail - I have E-mailed you more detailed information.

I offer a vast quantity of media services but I won't compete with Eric, that wouldn't be nice. I think your offer is reasonable radiojr but it is unreasonable that you don't want to pay up front. Always get a contract, and the fact that Eric is offering it is perfect. It gives you proof that the transaction took place and that way you can take him to court if he rips you off which he won't. I doubt you will find anyone that will do it up front though, it's too risky for both parties. Good luck guys.

Yes I know. I really was not going to have them do the logo first, the main goal of mine was to get the person to contact me, so I can tell them what I want. I did not want them to just do a design, and then all of a sudden come after me for payment. I wanted them to contact me and talk to me to where I know they understand the agreement. I always pay first. I have owned a biz. before, just not by myself, so I know how it works. I would never rip someone off. I could not live with myself if I did such a thing. It is not fair to the person who put all the hard work in. I just keep getting ripped off by designers. I pay upfront, and then they never contact me again. So I am out 200 dollars, and I cant afford that. So I wanted to work out a deal with someone, and I have. Eric seems to be really good, and if he has someone voicing his company for him, then I feel better about doing biz. with him. I am sorry if people saw me a bad person for saying do the work. I just wanted someone to contact me before the logo is created. I am sorry to anyone I offended in any way.

Hey - don't feel so bad on yourself. It's not your fault you got ripped off! All bps was saying is that you should look for the guarantees before parting with your cash.

It's a shame that web design and graphic design suffers from so many amateurs pretending to know what they are talking about. It gives the rest of us a bad name! But I'm sure Eric will do you a great job at a great rate. Hopefully that will restore your faith in the design community!
