Welcome new members to Young Entrepreneur Forums. We have built in many features and I will quickly walk you through a couple basic things you can do.

Making a Post:
Go to the forum you want to post in and hit the "New Thread" button.

Custom Signature:
A signature is attached to the bottom of every post, you make. To customize the signature you have at the bottom of every post click your "Biz Panel", than "Edit Profile". Scroll about half way down to "Signature". Type in what you want it to say, usually advertising your businesses web site is perfect for this section. After you are happy with what is written in the footer scroll down to the bottom and hit "Submit Modifications".

Upload Image (Avatar):
If you want an image to display beside every post you make, you need to upload what is called an "Avatar". Click Biz Panel (top right), than Edit Options, scroll to the bottom, under "Other Options" see Avatar.

Send a Private Message:
If you want to contact a user that you can benefit from networking with, Young Entrepreneur allows you to send them a Private Message. What this does is leaves them a message in their Control Panel.

Proper TimeZone:
To change to your timezone go to "Biz Panel", Edit Options, and than scroll to Time Offset, pick your timezone from the list, and hit submit, after that all the forum times should be updated to your timezone.

To do this, write down the persons username, click Private Messages (at the bottom of the forum homepage), now select the "New Message" button near the bottom left of the Private Message screen. In the "Recipient" field type in their usename.

Another faster way to send a private message is to find a recent post the user has made and select "Send PM" below the post.

Member Survey:
We have to our forums an area where you can answer more question that are added to your profile. To edit this section click on the "Biz Panel" and than far right "Member Survey", we highly reccommend you answer these questions.

** Only gold members are allowed to do this.
*** You can turn Private Messaging off in your control panel.
