Josh,
I am in your same exact position. When I was a Senior in highschool I would just sit in class and day dream of, not ways to make money, but creative businesses I could start (but still always thinking about the money). I actually started a little notebook where I jotted down all my ideas for future businesses. I started my own business in highschool, which was somewhat successful but ultimately shut it down. I feel like for many of us that have this entrepreneurial spirit, the biggest road block is getting that extra support to take our idea to the next step, whether it be a business partner or financial capital.
But Hey, I interned at this Financial Firm this Summer, and worked with alot of older business people with MBAs, CPAs, the whole thing, and I would tell them about my entrepreneurial ideas. All of them told me the same thing, Its this kind of driven innovation to make money and entrepreneurial spirit that corporations look for in their CEOs. I was 17 at the time, and it was great to hear this people say that they think by the time I would turn 35 I would be a CEO.
For the time being, I've decided to go to college, and get some formal education that might help with these many business ideas I have. If I do not end up starting my own business one day...well CEO dont sound too bad.
