    I Drive a...

Ok, so your an entrepreneur, that probably means you drive a mean car or still a teen car.

    What is our transportation method?

If you have a vehicle, tell us about it and post a pic.

Also, regardless of if you have a car or not, what is your DREAM CAR?

    I have a Mercedes SLK 2006 Black.

    edit: damn attachments don't work.

    lol, I work.

NexCards is brick and mortar business with two offices. Our website was just "brochure" site until it blew up to what it is now.

The website sales is just a fraction of our live business.

    Whats a 206?

I worked on the newer Peugeots pretty much everyday at college, damn plastic cars, tin toys ;p they're great for a driver of course, but as a mechanic I can tell you know the build quality is all over the place.

versas: do you own or lease that car? and do you still live at home with your parents? I don't know how old you are but judging by your photo, you are late teens - I bet your insurance to drive a car like that is through the roof?!

As an entrepreneur, you should know that a car is the single worst asset you could possibly purchase. You drive it off the lot, it loses value. tisk tisk...

The other thing you have to consider is psychology. I drive the crap car in my household and my wife drives the nice one. We know when it's appropriate to drive either car. If we are driving up to a investment property to haggle on price, most people are less likely to reduce the price when you roll up in a merc - but if I take my trusty beater and dress down a little - it disarms people and I ALWAYS get a deal.

On the other hand, if I am entertaining an investor I take the nice car. Perception is reality and you have to know how to use it to your advantage. Being the "big dog" in a pimp ride is rarely advantageous in everyday business life... unless you are pulling up to an exclusive club on a saturday night.

Anyway, you have a sweet ride

    My $.02,

And judging by you, your a middle aged man that can't afford a decent car. Or just someone who are secretly jealous and hateful towards people who have more than you. Perhaps you should get off your spitefull ass and start working.

I am 25. I own the car. Also a BMW 540 as my New York car.

Do I live with my parents? No. They both past away when I was 3 years old.

So no I have not lived with them since I was a baby. I own a condo in Miami Beach, and rent a loft in Manhattan.

As a successful entrepreneur I am in the position where I can and have purchased such things. But more importantly, I can afford such luxuries.

After all what's the point of success with out the pleasure it can bring in life?

Well yeah as my (admittedly hippyish) dad says, money doesn't bring happiness, but it can be used towards that end..a stepping stone, bah you know what I mean without trying to be deep.

versas: I turned 27 a couple weeks ago and I've been working my ass off since I was 10 and my Dad lied to the newspaper people so I could deliver papers. I've hustled a half-dozen businesses since then and I currently own rental property, a franchise, a real estate brokerage and I consult for a venture capital funded startup company. I paid my own way through college and for my wife and I to get married last month on Cape Cod. I think that should cover "getting off my spiteful ass and start working"...

Secondly, you seem really defensive. I was not attacking you - simply asking a few questions. It's my experience that forum folks can pump themselves all they'd like with fancy cars or business deals but then they can't back it up. The photo of your car could have been any photo from Google, right? Your personal photo is deceiving so I apologize for suggesting you were a teenager.

I would have zero respect for you if your toys were bankrolled by your parents; especially since I've earned, bought and paid for everything in my life by myself.

Now that I've learned a little more about you (from your other post about "are you real"), you seem to be legit. My apologies.

Also, if you cared to check my LinkedIn profile that is in my signature you will see my previous positions along with many connections to other business people that recognize and recommend my work.

Anyway, I wish you continued success and you do have a nice ride. For the record, there is something to be said for being humble.

So your one of them. Who dislike the rich kids? Just because someone is rich or their family is well off does not make them a bad person.

Why would you have no respect towards someone just because they have more than you? Just because they have money?

Speaking of. My family owns a century old bank in Switzerland. Of which I will have access to an 8 figure trust fund when I get married.

But have not received a dime yet. However I have worked harder than most to get where I am.

I didn't have to do all this. But I did.

So don't you preach to me about how you started working since you were 10 years old and how your so great when your just mediocre.

And have some respect. My parents are dead.
