A Gallardo is my dream car also! Or a Ferrari 430...(leaning more towards the Ferrari).

However, the Gallardo just stops my heart when I see one in person. Oh smoking crap, that car is just awesome to look at...

I paid my own way through college and for my wife and I to get married last month on Cape Cod. I think that should cover "getting off my spiteful ass and start working"...

Secondly, you seem really defensive. I was not attacking you - simply asking a few questions. It's my experience that forum folks can pump themselves all they'd like with fancy cars or business deals but then they can't back it up. The photo of your car could have been any photo from Google, right? Your personal photo is deceiving so I apologize for suggesting you were a teenager.

I would have zero respect for you if your toys were bankrolled by your parents; especially since I've earned, bought and paid for everything in my life by myself.

Now that I've learned a little more about you (from your other post about "are you real"), you seem to be legit. My apologies.

Also, if you cared to check my LinkedIn profile that is in my signature you will see my previous positions along with many connections to other business people that recognize and recommend my work.

Anyway, I wish you continued success and you do have a nice ride. For the record, there is something to be said for being humble.

with all due respect,I ask not to diss people who are dependent on their parents yet and who have been given a great support by them.
From my perspective, the more our parents "invest" in us while we are growing up, the more they are going to get back. It doesnt work for everyone, but that's how my mind is built. Coming to North America as an international student when I was 17 with basic English, I could see that A LOT of people put their parents in nursery homes where they slowly rot and die. This is kids' payback to their parents who didn't want to "invest" in their children while those children were attending schools and colleges.
YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW.
I wasn't born with silver spoon, but while I was studying in Canada,my mother(the only parent I had) achieved success through hard working and with desire to give her children the most she can, sometimes even depriving herself of something she wanted. This is because she realizes, that THE MORE SHE GIVES,THE MORE SHE GETS.
When I am a parent,I don't want my kids to come to me and say : " Daddy, how come you didn't work hard enough to put us through college and other education"? I'd kill myself if I had to hear that.

With all respect to you guys, who worked since they are 6 or 10 or whatever. I am glad, but I am also glad that my mother does whatever it takes for me to get all the education I want and not just get some degree and work for someone for 3 grand a month all my life. If you enjoy being an employee- go ahead,we-entrepreneurs-will need a lot of you.

thank you and I truly didn't want to go against anyone

p.s. don't forget to make your business sustainable!

Wow, you have now gone from boasting about your cars to calling names. I merely suggested that cars are a poor investment. I suggested my philosophy on appearances when in various business environments. I challenged your success and your claims, in a respectful manner, and then apologized after doing a little research. I never called you names or questioned your integrity.

And seriously, get off your high horse. I never implied or said that trust fund babies are "bad people". What I said is, and I quote, "I would have zero respect for you if your toys were bankrolled by your parents; especially since I've earned, bought and paid for everything in my life by myself."

Did I single out rich kids as bad people? Or did I imply that people that have more than me are "bad people"? Or that people with money are "bad people"? I'm here to learn from others, to improve myself and my businesses because I recognize that I can grow. I don't give a crap if you were born with money or without out - it's what you do and how you act as a person that determines how I view someone.

Let me modify my original statement: I would have a lot less respect for you if your toys were bankrolled by your parents. Conversely, I would have twice as much respect for someone that achieved their success without relying on their parents or their trust fund. NOTE: I said nothing about whether they are bad people.

Drive and entrepreneurial spirit is what brought most of the people to this forum. We ALL work a little harder than most but we didn't sign up here to tell everyone about it. We signed up here to learn from others, their experiences, their challenges and how to overcome them - to network, share ideas and feed off each other.

And again, just for clarification; you seem really defensive - I am not, have not and will not attack you. Maybe I am mediocre, but it sure is a lot less stressful being mediocre than running around trying to convince everyone how great I am. Now, I've apologized, explained myself and my opinions and confirmed I am not attacking you. Drop the sword and let's get back to the purpose of why we are on this board.

GreenUp: I have nothing against those that are supported by their parents. It's one thing for a parent to provide for their children, it's another to have the parents totally spoiling a child. Those reality television shows about teenage girls having $100k birthday parties is simply ludicrous.

There is a HUGE difference between a well-off or wealthy or even middle-class family that provides for their children WHILE teaching them responsibility and the value of a dollar. In fact, I have tremendous respect for those that come from wealth that are humble, modest and work like they don't have the money...

And like I said, I don't discriminate - I don't care if you have money or not, live at home or whatever - the only thing I use to judge people are that person's actions and attitudes. Coming from a sales background, I've learned NEVER to judge a book by its cover.

GreenUp: I hope you see what I mean...

I do totally understand and see what you mean and I wasn't trying to defend myself in my previous post. And I am up with you about spiled kids who have crappy lives after leaving the rich nest, but who cares, it's their choice and their parents decisions,so let us not judge anyone as it will come back right at us

Any way hello versas my name is Christopher
I recently moved to Houston for a personal business venture
And I am, at times, it seems the only successful, intelligent,
Charming young man driving around on a metallic blue vespa.
Successful, not yet but well on my way. I am happy

because that is asking for an opinion , and i dont need some1's
