To some the "martyrdom attitude" as you describe it will be the ticket out of poverty.

Where did I get all that idea? Hundreds of books I read that ranged from real estate, self helps, and money magazines. Saved me a ton of money than following the road to Harvard. Oh, and I did read Think and Grow
Rich.

A sincere congratulations on your successes. I am always happy to hear about the different paths people take to success. The journey is never clearcut. I'm not entirely sure what you mean when you say that you saved more using your own plan than the "road to Harvard." The Road to Harvard is the name of my blog and refers to my attempt to join the HBS. Did you mean to say that you saved a ton more using your own plan than the one that was outlined in my post "How to escape poverty"? If so I would question the validity of your statement as you have never implemented the plan and as such have no way of comparing both. Perhaps you meant to say I think I would have saved a ton more using my plan than if i had used the one in the post "How to escape poverty".
I too read Think and Grow rich. Was your reference to the title a claim that the book was in part responsible for your success? My experience with the book was quite different. I thought it was garbage

but to each his own.
