How much was your first sale for and scariest moment in business

Just state how much your first sale was for and what services or what you sold. Scariest moment i think is pretty explanitory. You can tell the story if you feel like it

    $300

Sold a Full page ad in a Niche magazine i started in a college town, i was soo nervous i think i dropped the marketing materials 3 or 4 times when trying to show them to the business owner.

Scariest moment was either when we moved into our NYC offices and i saw the rent bill or hiring the first employee since my partner and i had no idea what we were doing and the first time he finished his work we just looked at each other and were like...."what do we give him now"

LOL - didnt you think of this before you hired him?

Ya we did. But we hired him to do some technical stuff that took my partner and i a month to do and it took him no time since he had previous experience in another media firm and experience at doing that same job and he knew how to get it done alot faster, so we figured every month it would take him 2 to 3 weeks and then we could have him do odd jobs, but it took him 4 days and we were pretty idea-less on what to give him for the rest of the month

We ended up first having him do the research and market forecasting we hired him for. Then he did sales for the better part of 2 weeks and after that we started him on client relations and he's been heading that up for us ever since

First sale was proably 45$, scariest moment would either be when i bounced a check to a big supplier, or when i needed to come up with 600$ in 2 days for an order that got messed up.

Both my first sale and my scariest moment would be when I signed at closing to buy my first rental property. 6k Down. Well, it was a mix of scary and a feeling of steping off a ledge and free falling heh, but it all worked out.

(I guess technically that wouldn't be my first sale but it was my first foray into business

Mine was a Toshiba Qosmio laptop used for like 2 months. Sold it on ebay for $2200 to a guy in Germany who wanted it shipped to Italy. I shipped it, and kept track of the package online and when the package got there, it sat in customs for almost 2 weeks. I figured by that time the laptop was damaged because people get in a habit of just throwing boxes. I packed it really well and finally the customers friend got it and everything was "a" ok. That was a nerve racking experience and that was the last time catered to international buyers lol.
