How has your smartphone helped your business?

    Hello,

I am about to buy a Blackberry, but would like to know if having access to a smartphone helped you with your business. Has it helped you in marketing your product/service, or communication with customers?

Also, what smartphone do you have?

    Thanks
    -Andrew

Blackberry is better for email but iphone is overall better for most other things these days. If you have a lot of clients to keep up with and is an email heavy person, Blackberry is the way to go. If you're connected via applications and web browsing often times, iphone is a better device.

Personally I have an iPhone and love it.

@bennihan - I'm hoping having a blackberry would allow me to attend to customers' needs at any time. I won't have to wait for hours to get in front of a computer and reply to an e-mail. In addition, I would hope it would help with marketing. I know have the entire web in my hand.

I have an iPhone and it's been wonderful. It's an amazing tool at times, and enables me to easily stay in touch with people and business.

Blackberry is a great tool to have for anyone who needs to stay in touch with their email. However, sometimes the blackberry will have minor issues here and there, but for the most part the blackberry has be an amazing tool for me to have.

    Sure thing -

I use the iPhone. With that unit you are able to, have unlimited email accounts (i have 7) that you can monitor as if you were connected to Outlook. Use and update your Twitter activity, connect to your networks (if you are more advanced) and many many more. I mainly use it to keep up with my websites, Twitter activity, emails etc.

    Good luck on the BlackBerry

It will make you lose your mind. The last thing a person needs for their sanity is getting email 24/7. If it's that important, you can get phone calls. Get a laptop with a Verizon Broadband card, and then check when necessary.

    That's my opinion.
