    High School Interview

    Hi,

I am a grade 12 student from George Vanier Secondary School. In our entrepreneurship class, we currently have a project, that is to interview an entrepreneur. The nature of the interview is quite straightforward, and will focus on you, the entrepreneur, your business, motivations, and so on. As an incentive, it could be considered guerilla marketing (that is, if you're targeting the high school niche). If interested, please pm me, and I will give you further information as well as contact information.

Regards, and thanks to all who reply,

    Joseph

He might be in one of those "learning community" charter high schools that offer certain "tracks" such as Health Care Professional, Business, etc. I know that when a private corporation took over a failing ghetto high school here in Sacramento that it was reorganized in that fashion. Usually "business schools" just teach management of other people's businesses, similar to an MBA program. I think it's extremely cool that there would be one devoted to entrepreneurship. Personally, my high school offered a basic Economics class, and the teacher was a communist who bashed capitalism for a whole semester. Then we got a semester of Government with the same woman, and got to hear how awful "corporatist government" was. ARGH!

That's music to my ears. I really believe that by the time our generation is done Entrepreneur 101 will be required right along math and english.

As to the interview I'd be happy to help you out. I'm building an entrepreneurial nation for hardcore young entrepreneurs who are willing to face their fears in order to have fun getting rich in the businesses of their choice, traveling the planet and changing the world. It's called the Privateer Nation if you want to check it out or contact me....

Thank you for all the replies so far. I have neglected to mention that this is limited to the GTA, mainly due to the fact that gas and insurance is too expensive for me to afford!

I would be willing to work around your schedule, as I'm sure for most entrepreneurs are very busy.

Well I wouldn't really know anything about that, It's just another TDSB school, and I'm not that familiar with it, as its my first and last year at GV S.S, after a rough two years of stupidity beforehand at two other schools.

I did take management and international business in first semester, and I opted for sociology compared to economics for my current semester, but the two are very related, just depends on the field. High school is completely so generalized anyways, so it doesn't really matter until university.

On that matter, I got accepted into western for mangement and finance, and its going to be one hell of a year coming up.
