It's been brought to my attention that some people find my posts annoying, offensive and sarcastic

is there anything I can do to change my ways and avoid getting banned?

you have been a great help to me in the past your answers have been straight to the point and no pussy footing about, if I wanted someone to be nice and stroke my ego I would of asked my husband. And as for other posts some I think are great others not so but than again I dont bother reading them so me I am not one of the offended

This is an open forum, with lots of different personalities.

Sometimes, you're going to offend people without intending to. There's no getting around that.

Just try to treat everyone with respect - the way you'd want to be treated... and don't insult or embarass anyone needlessly - no one likes to be embarassed in a public forum.

If you have a beef with someone, settle it via PM's.

And if you do offend someone, be man enough to apologize publicly.

Remember, behind the impersonal avatars are real, flesh and blood human beings with feelings.

i agree, without being sarcastic about it. Being banned? please i cant determine wether your sincere or drawing attention needlessly but assumtions aside, be productive, lol. thats all i really have to say.

Akula, I don't think you have to worry about being banned. Yes, you do come across as a jerk sometimes. But folks have to understand that the typed word sometimes comes across in the wrong way anyway. And I have never found your advice to be "attacking" - it's always accurate and truthful. The truth sometimes hurts, which some folks don't realize. But then, that's just my opinion...

Lol was this post made for a pat on the back.

Anyway
I find alot of your post's informative and a good read.

I also find though, that sometimes your post's arnt really directed at the audience that will be reading it mostly 15-24 year olds. Your obvisouly well educated and enjoy using word power. Word power only works well a few times. Try and use everday lingo abit more. I do enjoy building my vocabulary but wen i see 10 new words in a post it over whelms me lol.

Keep it up with your post.
