Help I need sources for market research

Hi

I'm currently in the early stages of conducting market research into the homeware market in Australia. However, the first hurdle I have come across is finding industry data, business intelligence etc... Does anyone know any good (preferably free) sources of industry statistics, specifically for the market I have specified.

Any advice on what's the best sort of data to include to conduct market research for a business plan would be greatly appreciated. I'm heading to Sydney library tommorow to hassle the librarians but I thought you guys would be the best to advise on this subject.
