I don't have the capital myself to buy the land myself and unless I raise the money I will miss out on the opportunity to buy 10 acres of prime land for such a low price.

    Stage 1 is $50k
Stage 2 & 3 will cost more than another $50k

Honestly pal, I like your optimism, but who will give you free money for nothing in return :S

I am putting funds into this myself as soon as I can afford anything. Honestly I have little hope for the actually success of raising funds because no one helps anyone these days. People only care about them self and standing on the back of poor people in order to secure success.

I like the fact you have some strength to ask other for donations, I do admire that.

You are correct that everyone is for themselves, simply because everyone is, otherwise we wouldn't get anywhere if we helped others all the time.

I noticed you have some sort of business, why can't you get the strength to grow and develop the business to raise capital for your Green Home project, which is a great Idea.

If you have the determination inside to ask others for money and to become sustainable then channel that determination into brain power and go earn some money for your project, you'll feel even better at the end!

    Take Care,

    Ash

I am working on starting my business and I do hope to make my business a success. It is a lot of work starting a import/export laptop business when your direct competition is dell. I have a lot of hopes for my business and will be putting my own money into the green home project as well. It was a shot in the dark however to see if there were people out there actually willing to help me achieve my goals and dreams without being bias.

    Dragondrift,

    Hard work? give up then!

What isn't hard work these days, it only makes you push yourself harder and start to really get places, if everything was easy then you'd have a 40ft yacht, land and several cars by the time you were ten.

I know what hard work is, 24 hour days and traveling endlessly to meet with potential clients, delivering packages to specific destinations on time and still have your head in reality back at home, I may only be 17 years of age but I've done a lot already and felt hard work, but I still know only harder work is to come, try striving on it and thinking ahead, plan not only your business like you do but combine your life to you BP as well.

I wish you every success on your Self Sustained venture and really do wish the best for you.

    Kind Regards

    Ash

    MrBizz,

Thank you very much, I do know that in time (with or without help) that I will succeed. It is just a matter of working at it and never giving up and never surrendering.

This isn't true. People fund stuff all the time. The problem with why some people don't get funding is usually because of themselves or their business. Majority of investments are determined base on the individuals, the rest on factors surrounding the business and idea.

It's not that people don't fund others and help people succeed, it's that in your case you're all over the map, you are making wild pitches, and you don't even understand the actual funding process. You're expectations are wildly unrealistic given what you know and don't know about how funding even works. It's not even about the dollar amount you're trying to raise.

Let's face it, that's about as bad as a guy who can't find a job no matter where he goes saying to another dude who gets 10 job offers that same week stating no one is hiring. That's bullshit also. Let's face it. If you're not getting the funding you want, maybe it's time to reevaluate yourself and your business(es) instead of blaming others.

Your links does not go to your project page on Go Fund Me... You need a little help? Check out this post on my blog... The founder of GrowThink just put out a great video on funding companies this way.
