It definately was...
For the past few weeks I've had the ring and have been mulling over how I was going to ask her. I had no doubt she'd say yes, but I wanted it to be perfect. Everytime I thought I was on to something, I thought about one aspect of it that made it not perfect. I kept thinking that what I wanted to say wasn't good enough. I realized that if I kept on this path I would never get the job done.
So my solution: We went camping last weekend. It was a gorgeous day. I took the ring out of the box and put it in my pocket. I asked Diana to go for a walk with me to take "pictures." We found a rock we could climb to and sit down on that was in the lake. So we did, as we were sitting down, I pulled the ring out. After we sat down I couldn't get it back into my pocket if I tried...and I would risk dropping it. It had to be done. And it was
