That looks pretty interesting, although I think Google is in a very strong position now as it really has a strong grip on the search market, a much stronger grip than its competitors had when it started, especially when people saying things like "Google it. Something like Cuil.com will most likely become a decent resource for those attempting to find information for research purposes

Eh, not all that impressed. Cuil may be really good at finding some stuff, but it is lousy at other stuff.
Google may not be the typical company as described above, but they are very concerned with profits and stifling competition. Otherwise they would not have bought out YouTube and bought exclusive advertising rights at myspace. I hear both great things about them and really scary things about them. What they have is a terrific model for a workplace that I think others should follow, where it is fiscally feasible. They sure know how to attract employees.
Conservative opinions from someone who thinks a little differently than most.

Google certainly is aggressive about profits - but check this out....
Google: "I'm feeling lucky" button costs Google $110 million per year Companies that make sacrifices like that aren't going to lose their edge.
.
Google isn't as dumb as you think. |

Cuil will only become relevant once it starts to earn more money than Google.
